Finally I can post a picture....

First I would like to say, I started searching for ideas on how to cover a stone wall...I found lots of photo to help me .. ..I read early in my search to discover what you really like, it was best  to check out lots of pictures till you find the style that   really stands out to you...That is when I came across this  site.  http://www.thehouseofsmiths.com/ OMG Shelley's entryway was just breath taking...The softness of white, I knew exactly what I wanted  LOL  Shelley's Home ..But since that wasn't possible , I knew I also wanted to capture the soft white look ....
After seeing Shelley's beautiful home I got inspired to change my complete room..Now the fun part getting hubby in on my new idea....That part was easy....He now thinks it was his idea *wink* you girls all know about that trick I'm sure .....Well I still didn't know what color paint I wanted..I knew the fireplace wall had to be white but the color to go with that I wasn't sure..then I came across a room featured on this site http://lowtidehighstyle.blogspot.com/2010/02/beautifully-beachy.html.
I should say I NEVER like blue on walls but the room I saw looked blue...Learned later it was  Benjamin Moore's Beacon Gray..I loved it....Played around with should I grey or not, was it to blue...yes it is blue but I am so happy I went with it ..LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Enough already here is the before photo and the after photo of the wall... A big Thank You going out to Shelley and Low tide High style for sharing all your wonderful ideas.
The room is small but photos is making it look even smaller

More photos to come of rest of living room...
